Brief description of activities: PASS is a mentorship program that pairs motivated high school students with a younger student at the primary or intermediate school who is in need of a tutor. High school PASS students meet with their PASS buddy weekly for homework help and encouragement.
Any specific information or requirements: Students must have a permission form signed by parents, two recommendations from a previous teacher, must attend the county PASS mentor training, must keep at least a 3.0 GPA, and must not be an attendance or behavior problem.
